Are Financial Fears Sabotaging Your Business?

If you are new to Network Marketing, just getting going in your company or a seasoned professional, the financial news about the recession might be getting you down. If you have been talking to prospects and have been listening to their financial fears, it might be fueling your own fears. So how do you stay positive and focused during economic times like this?
These fears might be your own, or others that you are listening to. Either way, financial negativity could be affecting you, your work from home business and your bank account.
When I am financially afraid, my actions and intentions are different then when I am feeling abundant and prosperous.
Let’s start with what my actions are when I am feeling prosperous. I truly come from a place of gratitude and have the willingness to help others. I am focused on their needs and if I can honestly be of help to them. I don’t have the luxury of listening to long negative stories because I am interested in finding like-minded individuals who share my positive outlook. I am not begging, or trying to prove why my deal is better than others. I know the value my company offers and I utilize the proper third party recruiting tools. I also understand there will still be no’s. I still need to come from a place of integrity and giving value to others. My business is successful when I am feeling abundant, successful and prosperous.
Here’s what is going on when I’m feeling financial insecure while working my stay at home jobs for moms. I tend to talk longer to those who have stories. Partly because if I am on the phones I feel like I am working and it keeps me from making more calls which might mean more no’s. This isn’t really working, it’s simply wasting my time and probably the others persons too. When I come from a form of desperation, I will want to prove way my deal is better. I will take the no’s more personally. I will relate to their financial fears and will conclude that they’re correct in thinking they can’t afford a business. I will affirm their financial fears and insecurities. My business is not successful when I operate from a place of scarcity, fears and insecurities.
So what do you do if you are financially insecure and working a business to earn more money to become financially secure?
There are a many things you can do. First realizing your financial insecurity might be sabotaging your business is a start. Putting a plan in place and working your plan daily is important. Some of us might feel embarrassed to admit feeling this way, so talking with your sponsor and getting honest is important. They need to know where you are coming from to truly help you. When fear sets in, some of us become immobilized. Action is the key.
Listening to positive music, reading positive books, hang out with positive people all can help. Staying plugged into your companies training and to its leaders is vital when you might have several nay sayers around, you being one of them!
If you are serious about your business and serious about your future then doing anything and everything to keep a positive frame of mind is imperative. Nothing good comes from negativity.
There are so many great books, trainers and coaches who can help you get the mind set you need to work your business from a secure and positive place. They’re out there, trust me.
Now go get positive about your financial future and go help lots of people!
