Snooker is a game similar to billiards where two opponents play each other on a table with balls and cue sticks. The main aim of the game is potting the balls in a designated order to gain points while tactically forcing the opponent to either fail to pot the ball or make them foul.

The game is played on a table that measures 6 feet by 9 feet and has bumpers and pockets very similar to pocket pool. There are many different styles to choose from as far as design. However, if you are looking to be able to enjoy the game properly and according to international rules, you will need to have a table, that is within half an inch of the dimensions. Be sure to get a legal table and the right size to fit into the area you want to put the table in.

There are simple rules that will need to be followed when you are going to play the game and they are simple to follow and understand. There is an order to putting the balls in, and an order to the way they are hit. Things such as jumping other balls or knocking a ball off the table are fouls and result in points for your opponent.

However, when it comes to choosing your table make sure you have all the proper accessories needed as there have been occasions people have overlooked this.

Snooker is something that everyone can enjoy while they are playing and can be a great way to bring people together and entertain in your home. Many would love to have one of these tables in their home to play on and they can. Having a snooker in your home would bring the game to you instead of you going to the game.
