The city issued its first gaming license in 1931 to the Northern Club, and with the abundant electricity now available from Hoover Dam Fremont Street became known as Glitter Gulch.

Las Vegas is a city with glamour and glitz galore. From theme-based resorts to the safaris, the museums to the clubs, the fun seems to be nonstop. These packages are good value for the money and are generally packed with entertainment.

There are many discounts available to Las Vegas tourists during the holiday season, such as Thanksgiving and Christmas.
